Where it all began….
The Breakfast Group was created by Eric Yu & Connie O'Donovan in 1991. Both Eric & Connie brought their experience in & passion for the hospitality industry to their first venture with Villa Stefano in Holborn. Villa Stefano was a tremendous success, leading to the launch of venues such as Substation Soho & South, Saint, Jerusalem, Social London, Social Nottingham, Opium, Grand Central, Punk, Maya, Salvador & Amanda and 68 & Boston. Most recently, The Breakfast Group has seen the opening Lucy Wong in 2023, located in Fitzrovia, near Tottenham Court Road Station.

The Breakfast Group is an award winning organisation, having received since its inception such accolades as Best Multiple Operator in Flavour Magazine. Opium, their famous West End cocktail bar and dim sum parlour, has been named one of the Top 50 Cocktail Bars and has been awarded bar team of the year. Theme Magazine has also named Eric as the most influential individual. Eric's expertise is for not just for drinks & food, but for creating out of this world creative bar concepts and experiences which excite & delight guests.
The Last Talisman is The Breakfast Group’s jewel of a multi-functional venue located on buzzing Bermondsey Street, near London Bridge station.
